So this is Harry from Rowan’s Pipsqueaks
I knit the 3-4 year old size and it’s pretty damn huge, I don’t think Little One will wear this until the winter at least, if not next year! I used Cottonease in Ice Blue or something like that, I think it took 3 balls, it’s taken me so long to finish it off that I’ve forgotten! It was an enjoyable quick knit, I do enjoy a childs jumper as you finish it so fast. Add to the small size the fact that it’s knit on 5mm needles and you’ve got a really quick project on your hands!
As promised this is the first dishcloth I finished:
It’s in Ant Stitch on 4.5mm needles using Bernat Handicrafter Cotton, the shade is number 27. I did a little work on the orange on last night but didn’t make much progress, was too tired from working on the allotment to do any proper knitting.
My dpns for Sitcom Chic arrived this morning from Handknitting.com so I will get back to work on that now as well, it’s the sleeves next so lots of round and round knitting to keep me occupied.
I’m still far too fascinated by vintage patterns, a nice fat package containing these arrived this morning:
I don’t think I’m in need of an intervention quite yet but I do have another 2 patterns coming from Etsy and a list of about 10 that I’m watching on Ebay, must get around to actually making them sometime!
Right, off to finish cutting out the black t-shirts!
